Volunteers are the lifeline of our organization! If you are interested in helping as little as one hour a month, we would love to hear from you.

All current volunteer opportunities will be discussed during the Friends monthly meetings. “If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.” – Philippians 2:1-2
The role of friend, as part of Friendship Connection, is to offer friendship to any resident of Open Door and be a part of their support system. Come alongside the women as they discover how to solve problems in their life. Love them where they are and as they are without expectations. Encourage, listen, support, laugh, love, and cry with the women.
“Sweet friendships refresh the soul and awaken our hearts with joy, for good friends are like the anointing oil that yields the fragrant incense of God’s presence.” – Proverbs 27:9
We are in need of female drivers to drive residents to appointments. Many residents are involved in job training or have court ordered meetings with probation officers, CPS, or other agencies. Many of these offices are located in Marble Falls, Burnet or Llano.
